Welcome to the VJB Football and Cheer organization! We are looking forward to another awesome season!
We are excited that you have decided to join the Vacaville Jr. Bulldogs football family for the 2026 season. VJB is a non-profit volunteer organization that promotes teamwork, discipline, dedication, team spirit, and a respect for others.
Mandatory Football Registration Fees Include:
Registration fee: $475 – This fee includes items such as insurance, field rentals, and SYF fees.
Sibling Discount is available at check out. Just enter code: VJBSIBLING to redeem.
Volunteer Deposit: $250 – The success of the organization relies on volunteers. REQUIRED: A credit card authorization form will be collected at a later date (TBD) to acknowledge that these fees may be charged IF agreements are not fulfilled. Registration is NOT complete until this process is accomplished.
The success of the organization relies on volunteers. Your deposit will be refunded at the end of the season upon completion of 4 hours of volunteering (per athlete).
Uniform: Jerseys and game socks are included with registration fee. Players will keep their jerseys at the end of the season. Black pants are required and will be the responsibility of the athlete.
Mandatory League Fundraiser: Vacaville Junior Bulldogs (VJB) does not require a fundraising deposit. Instead, each athlete is required to participate in two (2) mandatory fundraisers during the season. Participation in these fundraisers is a condition of registration and helps support the ongoing operation of the VJB program. Specific fundraiser details, expectations, and timelines can be found in the Fundraising Agreement. By registering, families acknowledge and agree to the terms outlined in the VJB Fundraising Agreement.
Additional Football Registration Fees Include:
Equipment Deposit: This season, you will only be required to pay an equipment deposit if you need to rent equipment from VJB. All deposits will be refunded when equipment is returned at the end of the season. Separate fees will be charged based on your needs:
- Helmet rental: $125 deposit
- Shoulder pad rental: $125 deposit
Registration Total: A minimum of $475. Additional fees of up to $500 may apply based on equipment rental needs and volunteer hours. Deposits will be refunded at the close of the season when all conditions have been met.
The player’s age as of August 1, 2025 of the current year shall determine team level of participation. Player weight will determine position eligibility, i.e., skilled player, X-Man.
Any player weighing heavier than the skilled player maximum weight will then be certified to participate as an X-Man only.
All incoming 8th graders are required to participate at the 14U level only! No high school students.

*SP = Skilled Player, Any Player weighing more heavier than the skilled player maximum weight will then be certified to participate as an X-Man only.
X-Man = A player that weighs more than the maximum weight set per age group.
An X-Man is eligible to participate on the offensive and defensive line within the Free Blocking zone. An X-Man may advance the ball during a fumble or interception.
X-Man may participate on Kick off and Kick off return teams on the front line only. X-Man will be encouraged to wear a jersey number in the 60s, 70s, to be easily recognizable to the officials. X-Man is allowed to be punter and kicker on special teams. Xman will wear SYF authorized (only) sticker on the rear of the helmet.
** Cut Blocking/Low blocking below the waist is NOT allowed at any level, for safety reasons
Sports physical must be dated after April 1, 2025.
All new athletes (not returners from last year) need a school enrollment form (letter with address and date of birth, signed and stamped by the school or on school letterhead).
